Capital controls imposed by the Greek government do not apply to transactions or withdrawals made through ATMs and by the use of credit or cash cards issued abroad. In detail:
1. Foreign banks credit and cash cards issued abroad can be used as usual.
2. Payments by credit cards and money withdrawals from ATMs by credit or cash cards can be made according to the credit limit imposed by the banks which issued the cards and are not subject to capital controls imposed by the Greek Government.
Foreign banks credit and cash cards issued in Greece are subject to capital controls.
